YOUTH EMPOWERMENT PROGRAM
Change for the Better
Through our Youth Empowerment Program, we have the potential to make real and positive change. This is one of our key areas of focus here at Collegiate Board Network, and a source of much success for our Non-Profit Organization. Meeting twice a month as a group our CBN youth participate in community outings and events as well as special in-house sessions/seminars that guide them through such things as Applying for college, Financial Readiness, Investing and Savings, Social Advocacy and so much more.

Transforming Lives
We see every challenge as an opportunity, and our Work Based Learning initiative helps Collegiate Board Network ensure that those we serve are better prepared to persevere in a competitive market. Partnering with community businesses through this work-based learning program, we create opportunities for our CBN Youth to pursue internship/apprenticeship opportunities in their areas of career interest. We prepare them for a global marketplace through our structured career readiness program, helping shape them for a competitive workforce.
AFTER SCHOOL TUTORIAL PROGRAM
The Future Looks Bright
The tutorial program is our longest running initiative, based on the premise that making a real difference is not only possible but vital. At Collegiate Board Network, providing one-on-one tutorial and small group for our students is a source of great pride for our Non-Profit Organization. One-on-one tutoring for many is still a luxury for many. Various studies have shown that the achievement gap can be reduced by offering High-Impact tutoring including one-to one and small group tutoring not exceeding more than 3 students, are one of the only research-based initiatives that show impact across all subjects and grade levels.

Making Change Possible
Our Pulse Check initiative has proven to be a powerful tool for Collegiate Board Network to successfully serve our students and improve countless lives. Offering individual and group counseling sessions as well as emotional intelligence programs has greatly impacted our students in a positive manner.
